MBBS, GMC: 7654741
Dr Ziad Elgheriany is a compassionated and motivated specialty doctor in psychiatry. His interest in psychiatry was inspired by the meaningful, long-term impact mental health care can have on individuals’ lives, especially in supporting autonomy, dignity, and recovery.
He has worked across a variety of psychiatric services, including General Adult Psychiatry, Liaison, and CAMHS, gaining broad clinical experience in both urban and regional NHS Trusts. He is particularly skilled at engaging with adult patients through a calm, collaborative, and person-centred approach, ensuring that care is respectful, inclusive, and trauma-informed.
He has developed a strong interest in neurodevelopmental conditions, especially ADHD and Autism, and has experience assessing and managing these conditions within specialist and general settings. He is passionate about improving access to timely diagnosis and support for neurodivergent adults and strives to advocate for patients across all backgrounds. With a growing commitment to teaching, service development, and lifelong learning, he is working toward a future Consultant role where he can continue to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives.
